Abstract:Vestibular migraine(VM)is a clinically common recurrent vertigo-like disorder with predominantly vestibular symptoms.Changes in the natural and socio-human environment can often coerce the onset of VM.The mech-anisms of VM induced by environmental stress may be related to various aspects of the brain-gut axis, neural circuitry, neuroanatomy, and abnormal sensory integration. The uncovering of the pathogenesis of VM induced by environmental stressors has important clinical implications for the prevention and treatment of VM.
