Cultivation the Ability for Diagnosis and Therapy of Infectious Diseases in Otolaryngology,Head and Neck Surgery Under the New Situation

Abstract：The epidemic of an emerging infectious disease has exerted a huge impact on mode of medical diagno-sis,treatment and education in China,and the situation for prevention and control of the emerging infectious diseases in the post-epidemic era is still severe.Because most of the respiratory infectious diseases and some diseases of otolaryn-gology head and neck surgery would have similar clinical symptoms,otolaryngology medical staff are at high infection risk when engaging in clinical practice.Therefore,otolaryngology medical personnel not only need to master the clinical manifestations,diagnosis and treatment for infectious diseases of otolaryngology head and neck,but need to have profes-sional knowledge of identification,prevention and control about infectious disease.In order to improve the ability of di-agnosis and therapy for infectious diseases of otorhinolaryngology,and train qualified interdisciplinary personnel of"Otolaryngology-infectious diseases",this article summarizes the experience in training high-quality medical education professionals of otorhinolaryngology head and neck surgery under the guidance of holistic integrative medicine concept and comprehensive use of multi-disciplinary team collaboration,case and problem-based teaching methods under the new situation.
