Abstract:The neural mechanism of tinnitus is complex.Changes of neural activities related to tinnitus involve not only the auditory system, but also non-auditory networks in the brain.Functional magnetic resonance imaging(fM-RI)can provide information on neuronal activities and has been widely used in tinnitus studies to provide new insights on its neural mechanisms and new ideas for its diagnosis and treatment.
