Early Detection, Diagnosis and Prevention of Presbycusis

Abstract：Presbycusis is one of the most common diseases that affects the quality of life in the elder ones. Presby-cusis can cause depression, anxiety and other abnormal emotions. It can also increase the risk of Alzheimer's disease in the aged ones. So far there has been no effective drugs for deafness therapy. Therefore, it is very important to prevent, detect and diagnose presbycusis early. Early hearing screening for aged individuals can help diagnose their hearing prob-lems, and early intervention can improve their hearing and quality of life.
