Abstract：Mastoid cyst is an extremely rare condition involves the interruption of gas exchange between external envi?ronment and the mastoid gas room or tympanic sinus ventilation system due to certain causes, which leads to the blocked secre?tion drainage and hence the retention of the secretion. The emergence of associated symptoms and signs is caused by the com?pression from the gradually enlarging cyst on surrounding bones. Mastoid cyst is diagnosed by CT and MR and mainly treated by surgery.
