Sandwiching myringoplasty under endoscope by acoustic duct approach

Abstract：Objecive To report efficacy of modified endoscopic myringoplasty via the auditory meatus. Methods Data from 61 eases (64 ears) of tympanic membrane perforation treated with modified endoscopic myringoplasty via the auditory me?atus in our hospital from October 2012 to September 2014 were retrospectively reviewed. Results Sixty-one ears (95.3%) showed no recurrence of perforation with improved hearing and no signs of other complications at follow up in 6 months. Con?clusions Modified endoscopic myringoplasty via the auditory meatus is simple and safe,convenient,less injury procedure and worthy of clinical promotion.
