Abstract:Objective To discuss effects of traditional local dressing and dressing combined of abscess lavage with chymotrypsin after the incision and drainage in congenital preauricular fistula patients so as to provide the reference for the clinical treatment of the disease. Methods A total of 23 patients diagnosed with congenital preauricular fistula infections com?plicated with abscess were selected and divided into the control group (13 cases) and the observation group (10 cases) ran?domly. The control group were treated with dressing combined of abscess lavage with chymotrypsin after the incision and drainage, the observation group were treated with traditional local dressing. Results Patients in both groups were cured. The wound healing time of the control group was 6d~11d, the wound healing time of the observation group was (9d~18d). The time of control group is less than observation group, the difference was statistically significant ( p< 0.05). Conclusion Dressing combined of abscess lavage with chymotrypsin after the incision and drainage in congenital preauricular fistula patients can reduce the wound healing time. The method possesses clinical application value.
