Effect Observation on the New Repositioning Maneuver in the Treatment with Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo

Abstract：Objective To discuss the curative effect of Manipulation operation in the treatment with benign paroxys?mal positional vertigo (BPPV). Methods 278 cases with BPPV were retrospectively studied in our department from January 2012 to July 2013. All cases were reviewed after one day;three day and one week. Results When treated with Manipulation operation, the initial cure rate was 84%, the second and the third cure rate was 16%, the total success rate was 100%. Con?clusion Manipulation operation in the treatment with BPPV is a safe and effective method, so it should be used in the treat?ment with BPPV as the first method.
