To observe the clinical effect of different materials in tympanoplasty

Abstract：Objective To investigate the different materials (temporalis fascia, thin layer of cartilage perichondrium flap complex) effect of modified sandwich method for myringoplasty. Methods the patients of 100 ears with chronic suppurative oti-tis media of tympanic membrane perforation, random double blind method and autologous temporalis fascia (control group) and the thin layer of cartilage perichondrium flap complex (Study Group) and modified sandwich method of myringoplasty, respec-tively, clinical observation and statistics analysis on the postoperative healing, listening effect and tympanic curves. Results①the tympanic membrane perforation healing effect, no difference between two groups (P>0.05). The big perforation of tympan-ic membrane, listening and tympanogram research group than the control group (P<0.05) in the tympanic membrane perfora-tion, small, listening and tympanic curve control group was better than that of the study group (P>0.05). Conclusion repair-ing tympanic membrane perforation of tympanic membrane healing, no significant difference between two groups;repairing tym-panic membrane perforation of tympanic curves, listening and the study group was significantly better than the control group, better long-term hearing results, for the eardrum, perforation, the control group was significantly better than the study group.
