Abstract：Allergic constitution serves as the common basis for the development of allergic diseases.As a typical allergic condition,the occurrence of allergic rhinitis(AR)is closely associated with an individual's constitution.Acupuncture,as an economical,practical,and green therapy in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),offers advantages such as ease of operation,controllability,minimal adverse effects,and strong applicability.An increasing number of AR patients are seeking TCM treatment.By integrating TCM constitution theory and the concept of"preventive treatment of disease"to guide acupuncture interventions,the most appropriate acupuncture regimen can be selected.Early intervention through acupuncture aims to correct and improve the allergic constitution of AR patients,shifting the focus from treating the allergic"disease"to treating the allergic"individual".This approach provides new ideas and pathways for the prevention,diagnosis,and treatment of AR.
