Thematic Analysis of Knowledge Organization in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Countermeasures for Knowledge Organization in Classical Texts

Abstract：Objective To analyze the evolutionary trajectory,technical challenges,and development pathways of knowledge organization research in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),with a focus on difficulties in organizing classical text knowledge,so as to provide theoretical references for addressing the engineering dilemmas in TCM knowledge systems.Methods Based on 474 core articles retrieved from the China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),VIP Chinese Scientific Journals Database,and Wanfang Data Knowledge Service Platform(2006-2025),a thematic coding system comprising 9 first-level categories and 27 second-level categories was constructed.Quantitative analysis was conducted to examine the distribution and evolution of research themes in TCM knowledge organization,and to propose research directions and countermeasures for organizing classical text knowledge.Results TCM knowledge organization research has evolved from basic terminology standardization to intelligent application scenarios.However,classical text knowledge organization still faces challenges such as difficulties in disambiguating terminological semantics,limited semantic unification in thesauri,insufficient generalization capability of classification models,constraints on logical self-consistency in ontology construction,and technical bottlenecks in knowledge graph development.Conclusion It is recommended to establish a hierarchical and dynamic terminology standard system for ancient texts,enhance the semantic annotation capability of thesauri,improve the generalization performance of classification models,address conceptual ambiguity in ontology construction,and overcome technical barriers in knowledge graph building.These measures will facilitate the systematic integration and intelligent application of TCM classical text knowledge,contributing to the modernization of traditional TCM knowledge systems.
