A Review of the Research on the Methodology of Contemporary Traditional Chinese Medicine Philosophy

Abstract：In contemporary academic circles,certain progress has been made in the research on the themes,structures,and elements of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)philosophy methodology.The main topics,thinking modes,and methodological characteristics of TCM philosophy methodology are the focuses of contemporary academic research,which are mainly reflected in the studies of its classification,features,thinking process,and the comparison between TCM and Western medicine methodologies.While relevant research clearly interprets the basic features and characteristics of TCM philosophy methodology,there are also issues of over-abstraction and conceptualization in theoretical research and methodological discussions.This has led to the separation of the unity among the content,history,and methods of TCM philosophy methodology.Discussing TCM philosophy methodology within the framework of Chinese philosophical thinking,historical context,and cultural milieu should be the key approach to avoid research pitfalls in contemporary times and is also a necessary perspective for a genuine interpretation of TCM methodology.
