Research on Early Disease Views Based on Unearthed Pre-Qin and Han Dynasty Bamboo and Silk Documents

Abstract:By sorting out the discussions on diseases in the unearthed bamboo and silk documents of the Pre-Qin and Han dynasties,this article summarizes the early disease concept of traditional Chinese medicine from the causes,locations,characteristics,and transmission of diseases.Research has found that wind is one of the most common causes in early medicine.Different social groups have different causes of illness.There are specific and abstract differences in disease location,and the ancient people's understanding of disease location is closely related to treatment methods.The main types of illness are differences in cold,heat,deficiency,and excess.The proposal of the concept of"changes in diseases"and the observation and summary of the laws of disease transmission fully demonstrate the achievements of early traditional Chinese medicine.
