Abstract:"Integration of Medicine and Pharmacy"is one of the core academic thoughts of Researcher Zhou Chaofan. It involves the comprehensive integration of TCM theory and Chinese materia medica theory, building upon traditional TCM and herbal medicine knowledge while incorporating modern advancements in TCM.This approach achieves a deep fusion of medical theory and pharmaceutical practice. The theory of cold and heat permeates the entire theoretical system of TCM and serves as two fundamental principles for identifying the nature of diseases. This paper takes the cold-heat theory of TCM as a starting point, reviews its origins and basic connotations, and explores Zhou Chaofan's academic thought of"Integration of Medicine and Pharmacy"from both theoretical and material perspectives. The aim is to deepen the understanding of the relationship between TCM theory and herbal medicine theory, thereby building a bridge connecting medicine and pharmacy, inheriting ancient and modern knowledge, and integrating Chinese and Western medical practices.
