Abstract:Diminished ovarian reserve(DOR)constitutes both a major clinical challenge and a key focus of research in reproductive medicine.Guided by the core traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)reproductive theory of the"Kidney-Tiangui-Chongren-Uterus Reproductive Axis",Chinese herbal therapy based on tonifying the kidney has been widely applied in clinical practice to treat DOR and improve pregnancy outcomes of in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer(IVF-ET).This paper conducts an in-depth discussion on the fundamental pathogenesis of infertility caused by DOR,the TCM connotation of kidney-tonifying and blood-regulating therapy, and its phased application in IVF-ET treatment of DOR-related infertility. The aim is to provide insights and methods to further enhance the clinical efficacy of TCM intervention in IVF-ET treatment for DOR-related infertility.
