Application of the Treatment Methods of Warm Diseases in Cough Caused by Modern Pulmonary Epidemic Diseases

Abstract：In recent years,the incidence of pulmonary epidemic diseases has significantly increased,and cough is one of the most common clinical symptoms,which is closely related to the occurrence,development,and prognosis of pulmonary epidemic diseases.The development of the theoretical system of warm diseases has enabled the formation of an independent disease prevention and treatment system for epidemic diseases,which has important clinical guidance and reference significance for the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary epidemic diseases.This article summarizes and sorts out the academic thoughts and special treatment methods in the theory of warm diseases,to guide the clinical diagnosis and treatment of modern emerging and sudden pulmonary epidemic diseases such as influenza,mycoplasma pneumonia,and novel coronavirus infection.The special treatment methods of warm diseases,such as dispersing exterior pathogens with pungent herbs,soothing cough with sweet and moistening herbs,clearing the upper Jiao with light and fragrant herbs,using Xingren(Armeniacae Semen Amarum)frequently,using light and clear herbs to promote the flow of Qi,regulating the pivot of transformation,drying dampness and lowering lung Qi,warming and moistening the metal element,and unblocking stagnation and harmonizing Yin and Yang,have distinct clinical value in the full course of treatment for cough caused by influenza,mycoplasma pneumonia,and novel coronavirus infection.
