Abstract:This paper interprets the original text of"stagnant heat"in the Inner Canon of Huangdi, systematically combs the theoretical connotation of"stagnant heat"in the Inner Canon of Huangdi from the perspectives of concept connotation, pathogenesis evolution, treatment rules and so on,and analyzes the source, development and treatment rules of"stagnant heat"."Stagnant heat"refers to a pathological state in which Qi is not flowing and heat is suppressed.Pathogenic heat and Qi stagnation are two key factors leading to the formation of stagnant heat. Both external and internal injuries can cause"stagnant heat".Because of the position of stagnation, degree of stagnation and the strength of healthy Qi are different, the nature of the disease can be classified as deficiency or excess. The pathogenesis is complex, including heat caused by constraint and constraint caused by heat, and many factors affect each other. The treatment of stagnant heat is based on the principle of"releasing stagnated fire",focusing on guiding the flow of Qi according to its natural tendency and promoting smooth circulation. It employs a wide range of therapeutic approaches.
