Formation Process of"Images"in the Inner Canon of Huangdi from the Perspective of Imagery Thinking

Abstract：Imagery thinking involves a series of processes,including understanding things,constructing one's own"image",analyzing,understanding and guiding events,based on the relationship between"images".The formation of"image"is the key.The formation process of"image"in the Inner Canon of Huangdi from the perspective of imagery thinking includes four stages:"taking image""forming image""using image to measure meaning"and"getting meaning forgetting image"."Taking image"is similar to the primary stage of cognition,which lays the foundation for"forming image".Then,the"images"are formed to reveal truth and the essence of life through their rich connotations and relationships.Finally,they gradually break away from the form of"images"and reaching the truth.The"images"in the Inner Canon of Huangdi reflect the development trend of traditional Chinese medicine theory through four levels of development,from ambiguity to concreteness,and then from concreteness to disappearance.
