Experience of Zhang Zhiyuan in Using Chenxiang to Treat Triple Energizer Qi Transformation Disorders

Abstract：Master Zhang Zhiyuan,a renowned physician,believed that the Triple energizer(Sanjiao)is the master of Qi transformation.When the Triple energizer is unobstructed,the rise and fall of Qi throughout the body are orderly,and the circulation of body fluids and nutrient-blood is smooth,ensuring normal Qi transformation in the internal organs.The aroma of Chenxiang is heavy and fragrant,capable of regulating the movement of Qi up and down,promoting the function of the Triple energizer,and adjusting the process of Qi transformation.For the upper energizer,the key lies in the"great atmosphere"in the chest,which governs the opening and closing of the lungs.Chenxiang can enhance this great atmosphere,relieve shortness of breath,and calm the mind.For the middle energizer,the key is the normal operation of the spleen and stomach's rising and falling mechanism.Chenxiang can assist in the movement of earth Qi,eliminate dampness,and reduce reverse Qi.For the lower energizer,the key involves the regulation of original Qi and the upward movement of ministerial fire,which can be supported by the fullness of the Triple energizer throughout the body.Chenxiang can warm and supplement the life gate(Mingmen),nourish original Qi,and support the ministerial fire.
