Abstract:"Metabolic memory"represents a crucial bottleneck in the prevention and treatment of diabetic myocardial injury, which is one of the significant reasons why current clinical interventions struggle to reduce cardiovascular complications in diabetes.Based on the theories of lipid and turbid toxin, this paper delves into the rule of syndrome and treatment for"metabolic memory"in diabetic myocardial injury. The underlying pathogenesis of"metabolic memory"in diabetic myocardial injury is characterized by"deficiency of Qi and Yin with insidious consumption of body fluids".Meanwhile, there are pathological products such as dampness, turbidity, and toxin at different stages of the disease. The disease course can be divided into three stages:"Pre-metabolic memory stage:excessive lipid, damage to both Qi and Yin,and insidious consumption of body fluids;Middle-metabolic memory stage-lipid-derived pathogens and accumulation of damp-turbidity;Late-metabolic memory stage-damp-turbidity transforming into toxin and turbid toxin damaging collaterals".Treatment can be centered around"replenishing Qi and promoting fluid production",and medicines for regulating Qi,resolving dampness, reducing turbidity, and dredging collaterals can be added according to different stages of the disease. The purpose is to offer new ideas and methods for optimizing the clinical diagnosis and treatment strategies of diabetes complicated by cardiovascular diseases.
