Abstract:The core concept of the academic theory of Fuyang medicine originated from Liu Yuan's philosophical thought of"congenital and acquired".This article systematically outlines the development context of Fuyang medicine's"congenital and acquired"thought and discusses the connotation of this thought from the perspective of clinical application. The authors propose that in clinical practice, attention should be paid to"the single Yang within Yin",which serves as a bridge for the communication between"congenital and acquired".Fuzi can be used to directly supplement"the single Yang within Yin",thereby drawing from Yin to nourish Yang. This approach aims to restore the"acquired"state to the"congenital",reestablishing the harmonious balance and mutual support between Yin and Yang, and ultimately attaining the highest level of unity between"congenital"and"acquired".The authors believe that guiding clinical practice with Fuyang medicine's"congenital and acquired"thought can provide new ideas for clinical diagnosis and treatment.
