Exploration into the Historical Evolution and Origins of Liver Stagnation and Spleen Deficiency Syndrome

Abstract:Liver stagnation and spleen deficiency syndrome is a common clinical syndrome,which occurs in a variety of diseases and is complex.Through combing the ancient books of traditional Chinese medicine,this paper textual research on the historical evolution and origin of liver stagnation and spleen deficiency syndrome,presenting its development history.It was found that the concept of liver stagnation and spleen deficiency syndrome sprouted in the pre-Qin and Han dynasties;the spectrum of liver and spleen diseases expanded in the Wei,Jin,Sui and Tang dynasties;its etiology and treatment prescriptions had begun to take shape in the Song,Jin and Yuan dynasties;its theory developed and matured in the Ming and Qing dynasties,and the liver and spleen became the mainstream treatment.Looking at the discussion of ancient physicians,the connotation of liver stagnation and spleen deficiency syndrome evolves with the dynamic evolution of liver control and spleen transport.This article provides a theoretical basis for in-depth understanding and understanding of liver stagnation and spleen deficiency syndrome,and also provides a reference and basis for clinical practice.
