Treatment of Perimenopausal Insomnia from the Theory of"Xiang Huo Fan Zhi"

Abstract：Based on the physiological characteristics of deficiency of kidney Yin in perimenopausal women,we discuss the pathogenesis and treatment of perimenopausal insomnia with the theoretical connotation of"Xiang Huo Fan Zhi".It is concluded that the core pathogenesis of perimenopausal insomnia is the deficiency of kidney Yin leading to the flicker of Xiang Huo,Jun Huo and Xiang Huo becoming out of control.It is pointed out that the treatment of perimenopausal insomnia from the perspective of Xiang Huo should obey to its essence,pay attention to less discharge and more tonic of general principle of treatment,and put forward the specific treatment ideas of tonifying Yin of liver and kidney,communicating heart and kidney,nourishing spleen to convergence fire and guiding fire to origin as the theory of"Xiang Huo Fan Zhi"in the treatment of perimenopausal insomnia.
