Abstract：To summarize Professor Xiong Dajing's clinical experience in treating menopausal tinnitus with communicating heart and kidney.The fundamental cause is believed to be the loss of kidney essence and the decline of Yin and Yang.Heart fire and mental instability are the direct factors leading to menopausal tinnitus,and it is proposed that water deficiency and excessive fire are the key pathogenesis of menopausal tinnitus.In clinical practice,the main treatment method is the communicating of heart and kidney.Professor Xiong Dajing believes that the communicating of heart and kidney not only includes purging heart fire and tonifying kidney water,but also includes regulating the liver,regulating the spleen,and opening the Xuanfu.Often treated with self made Jiaotong Heart and Kidney decoction.
