Abstract：Li Dongyuan is the representative of the school of Supplementing the earth,who pioneered the theory of"treating endogenous and miscellaneous diseases from the spleen and stomach",but the theory is different from the existing treatment system of syndrome differentiation of Zang-fu,so it is difficult for later scholars to understand its abstract.In this paper,through the in-depth study of the picture of Zangqi-Fashi,ascending,descending,floating,sinking,and supplementing and purging in Pi Wei Lun,combined with the discussion of ancient books such as Huang Di Nei Jing and Qiyuan of Medicine,this paper believes that Zangqi is the core of Li Dongyuan's theory of Supplementing the earth and is the theoretical basis of treating the Five Zang organs from the spleen and stomach.Fashi is the key to realize Li Dongyuan's theory of Supplementing the earth,and it is the key to regulate the treatment of the Five Zang from the spleen and stomach.Ascending-descending is the standard for judging supplementing and purging,and it is the principle for Li Dongyuan to formulate prescriptions.Floating-sinking is the method for realizing supplementing and purging,and it is also the basis for traditional Chinese medicine selection,addition and subtraction.Studying the diagram and researching its significance are of great benefit to the study of Li Dongyuan's theory of Supplementing the earth.
