Abstract:In 2024,driven by both policy support and the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence technology, significant progress has been made in theoretical innovation, technological application, and standardization in the field of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)diagnostics.Large AI models have deeply integrated TCM knowledge with clinical data, enabling intelligent inquiry and syndrome differentiation, thereby markedly enhancing diagnostic efficiency and personalized services, albeit facing challenges in data standardization and ethics.Innovative methods such as the constitution observation model based on the"Yin-Yang Twenty-Five Persons Theory,"the framework of"Systematic Syndrome Differentiation Pulseology,"and novel approaches like olfactory diagnosis, eye diagnosis, and skin diagnosis have broadened the application dimensions of the four diagnostic methods.Theoretical advancements such as the"Gate of Life Ontology Model"and the new TCM syndrome differentiation and treatment system of"Prescription-Disease-Syndrome",along with the integration of disease and syndrome research and the issuance of relevant diagnostic standards, have propelled the standardization and modernization of syndrome differentiation. The enrichment of animal models for combined disease and syndrome conditions like Qi-blood-Yin-Yang deficiency, kidney deficiency, liver depression, and damp syndrome, coupled with in-depth research into syndrome connotations and systematic exploration of biological foundations, has facilitated the interpretation and modernization of TCM theory. The intelligent upgrading of pulse and tongue diagnosis equipment, the application of technologies like infrared thermal imaging and eye diagnostic devices in disease syndrome differentiation, and the integration of multimodal data have accelerated the objective and standardized development of TCM diagnostics.
