Abstract:Experience serves as a fundamental source of knowledge and a pivotal means of comprehending the intricacies of the world. However, the constraints imposed by traditional empiricism, which confine experience within the realm of uncertainty, inherently lead to the erosion of its significance within the realm of rational discourse.Consequently, the re-examination of the historical depth and intrinsic merit of clinical experience emerges as a pivotal principle for Chinese medicine to reclaim its essence and forge new paths amidst the ever-evolving global landscape.Understanding the value of universal, historical and holistic experience that transcends individual experience and specific social environments, which has been condensed by thousands of years of clinical intellectual practice of Chinese medicine and the development of the inheritance of many medical practitioners, breaking through the traditional understanding of experience and proposing the transcendental value of Chinese medicine to human life and health and the transcendental logic that has a core supportive role, and analysing successively the possibilities of realising and hierarchy of the transcendental value, the contribution of reflection to the realisation and self-organization of the transcendental value. The transcendental value theory of Chinese medicine will not only provide new implications for modern empiricism and other ideas, but will also provide Chinese-style solutions and Eastern philosophical wisdom for the realisation of a future health medicine characterised by individualised treatment and doctor-patient communities.
