Abstract:Cervical cancer is the most common gynecological malignant tumor. In recent years, the incidence of cervical cancer shows a younger trend, and the pathogenesis is diverse. Persistent human papillomavirus (HPV) infection is the main inducible factor of cervical cancer. In addition, abnormal gene expression, abnormal non-coding RNA,cervical epithelial cell microenvironment, gene modification and adverse environment are all potential factors inducing cervical cancer. However, there is no unified and exact conclusion. Clarifying the pathogenesis of cervical cancer is of great significance for its early screening, diagnosis, prevention and prognosis. At present, the main treatment of cervical cancer is surgery combined with chemotherapeutic radiotherapy, although the efficacy is accurate, but there are many side effects and adverse reactions,it is unable to maintain long-term treatment. Traditional Chinese medicine has unique advantages in the treatment of cervical cancer, which can be used as the main body and adjuvant medicine, playing a role in reducing chemical medicine and radiation dose, reducing toxicity and enhancing effectiveness, improving patient compliance and improving quality of life, etc.,so as to maintain treatment. However, there is a lack of systematic summary of the pathogenesis of cervical cancer, and traditional Chinese medicine treatment has not formed an epidemic trend. Therefore,it is necessary to systematically summarize its pathogenesis and the clinical application of traditional Chinese medicine in the prevention and treatment of cervical cancer,so as to facilitate the early screening, diagnosis and treatment of cervical cancer and promote the application of traditional Chinese medicine in the prevention and treatment of cervical cancer.
