Analysis of Wu Jutong's Thought on Treating Dryness in Wen Bing Tiao Bian

Abstract：This paper summarizes Wu Jutong's thought on the differentiation and treatment of dryness based on Wen Bing Tiao Bian,in order to provide ideas for the clinical treatment of dryness and related diseases.Wu Jutong thinks that dryness is mainly exogenous,with Sanjiao as the channel for transmission and change,mainly encroaching on Qifen and Xuefen.Its disease is divided into warm-dryness and cool-dryness,cool-dryness easily block Qi movement appear cold,warm-dryness easily damage body fluid.In the treatment,the treatment of Sanjiao is different.The Qi syndrome of Shangjiao is often used with zinn herbs,constipation syndrome caused by cold and heat evil of Zhongjiao is often used with bitter herbs to purge,body fluid injury syndrome of Xiajiao is often used with salty cold herbs to replenish essence,etc.At the same time,according to different parts of Wei Qi Ying Xue for precise medication.In short,cold syndrome is treated with bitter and warm herbs,while hot syndrome is treated with sweet and cold herbs.The law of transmission,change and drug use of dryness disease was deeply revealed in Wen Bing Tiao Bian,forming a complete diagnosis and treatment system of dryness disease.
