Abstract:Objective: To systematically review the clinical effect and safety of Tianma Gouteng Yin (TGY) for migraine compared to Calcium channel blockers (CCB). Method: Such databases as Pub Med, Cochrane library, CNKI, VIP, Wanfang data and CBM were searched and we carried out meta-analysis and TSA analysis by using Stata 14 version and TSA v0. 9 respectively. Results: Totally 10 RCT including 900 cases were included eventually. The analysis shows that the total effective rate of prophylactic treatment of migraine in TGY increased by 31% compared to CCB (RR = 1. 31, 95%CI (1. 22, 1. 40) ). The TSA analysis shows that the evidence of the total effective rate is definite. The incidence of adverse reactions was 3. 1% in the treatment group and 7. 5% in the control group. Conclusion: The effectiveness and safety of TGY in the treatment of migraine is better than CCB, which has a good long-term effect. But a larger sample, higher quality RCT test are definitely needed for confirming the conclusion.
