TCM Treatment of Gastrointestinal Mucosal Disease from 'Yin skin'

Abstract：The positional relationship of alimentary tract mucosa and lamina muscalaris seems to be skin and subcutaneous tissue. So the position of alimentary tract mucosa is relatively "superficial". If the skin has been named"Yang skin", the alimentary tract mucosa would be named as"Yin skin". The disease of alimentary tract mucosa would be named "Yin skin disease". The exterior-interior syndrome differentiation of"Yin skin disease"belongs to"exterior in the interior". Therefore, based on the conventional syndrome differentiation and treatment of alimentary tract mucosa disease, there are other treatments like "sweating method"could be used, such as inducing sweating to release exterior, elevating interior and detoxifying, activating blood and dredging collaterals. It may expand and enhance the treatment effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
