Abstract:Systematically review of the literature on TCM diagnosing and treating IgA nephropathy, summarizing the theory of etiology. This paper holds that the wind pathogen is the primary cause of IgA nephropathy; hidden pathogen is the main causes of IgA nephropathy lingering; "pharynx → lung (stomach) → kidney "is the main route of evil invasion;"Kidney collateral"is the basic location of disease. We also expound that the basic pathogenesis of IgA nephropathy are rooted by deficiency of Qi and Yin, branched by wet, hot, and blood stasis, of which heat evil lead to hematuria; damp evil lead to disease progresses; blood stasis run through of the disease. Puts forward that toxin factor and triple Jiao stagnation is key points in the process of pathogenesis development, and besides the basic therapy strengthening vital qi to eliminate pathogenic factor, holds that treating from wind, toxin and dredging the triple Jiao are important thoughts of diagnosis and treatment.
