Abstract：WANG Wei-de's theoretical connotation of dispersing method and drawing method is extremely rich.His dispersing method contain detumescence,disinfection which is known with conventional understanding,in addition,it contained eliminating phlegm.These three aspects build WANG's academic system of dispersing method,and greatly enriched the contents of dispersing method,and this thinking reflect in the diversity of clinical practice of dispersing method,such as Yanghe Decoction,Qingshu Decoction and so on.His drawing method concept is broad,this connotation was not limited to drawing of poison and drawing of pus.And this method is used on any stage of the development of carbuncle,limited only Yang-type carbuncles.He clarified the difference between the tonifying and drawing of poison for the first time.It has far-reaching significance for the development of the later theory of traditional Chinese medicine surgery,and has important guiding significance for the clinic.
