Abstract：When diagnosing and treating incubated diseases,we should pay attention to the theory of three causative factors and the eight-principle pattern identification.We should search for the primary cause and location of the disease to master the pathogenesis under the manifestations which influences the variation of the treatment,and shouldn't be confused by the manifestation of disease.The article discussed the incubated diseases to do some good for the clinical practice from four aspects,incubating means hiding,the pathogenesis is under the manifestations of the disease;incubated in the body,the pathogenisis should be sought;the obstruction of qi circulation as a result of incubation,while the eight-principle pattern identification should be used flexibly;seeking the pathogenesis beneath the manifestations of the diseases,differentiations and treatment based on the causes.
