TCM Syndrome Treatment Strategy of Sleep Behavior Disorder in the Period of Rapid Eye Movement

Abstract：Rapid Eye Morement(REM) sleep behavior disorder has become a predictor of neurodegenerative disease in the nervous system.In order to provide theoretical basis of Chinese Medicine for the prevention and treatment of it in early stage,this study discusses the etiology and pathogenesis of TCM and the related methods of TCM dialectical treatment of Rapid eye morement sleep behavior disorder (RBD).Method:With summarizing and summing-up the theory and experience of past dynasties physicians,we reorganize a series of the pathogenesis and TCM treatment strategy of Rapid eye morement sleep beharion disorder (RBD).Result:In the course of RBD pathogenesis,damaged kidney essence,Impaired Liver and kidney and Insufficiency of Qi and blood are Weak evil Imaginary evil in the body,while the wind,phlegm turbidity,blood stasis as the strong evil disturb the brain and the heart causing the spirit having left the body.So the perfect treatment should be based on eliminating excess and tonifying deficiency to keep the harmony of body,and the same time we have to take care of both Visceral coordination,Qi and blood complement,Elimination of turbid pathogens.Conclusion:Impaired kidney essence,deficiency of liver and kidney,deficiency of Qi and blood,be mentally disturbed,which is the main pathogenesis of RBD,however the pathological products such as wind,phlegm and stasis are often pathogenic factors in the course of development and aggravate the condition.We follow the development trend of pathogenesis,keeping the harmony of the body firstly,make the balance of the viscera,Invigorate qi and nourish blood,and choose the most suitable one from wind dispelling,phlegm resolving and dredge stasis.Most important of all,we should give different treatment to the patient in the clinic and chosen individually.
