Analysis of the Disease Position of Hernia

Abstract：Hernia,commonly known as " small intestine string gas",is a disease that part of intestinal cavity protrudes from abdominal wall or inguinal or enters scrotum from peritoneal.Hernia is a common clinical disease and is found mostly in children,the elderly and pregnant women.It has both physical and psychological harm to people and is life threatening if it lasts long and is not cured.This article proposes the theory of " location of hernia is always emphasized in the liver,but it is not located the liver simply" according to the relevant discussions in Yellow Emperor's Canon of Medicine and Miscellaneous Diseases to the General.It is concluded that Hernia location is in liver,also in kidney,spleen and ren channel by summarizing the literature related to Hernia.Guiding Hernia treatment and improving clinical efficacy of Hernia in traditional Chinese medicine can be achieved by analyzing the pathogenesis of each Hernia location,selecting appropriate treatment method and prescription accordingly and proposing Hernia treatment program combined acupuncture with medicine.
