Abstract："Yi Fa Yuan Tong"was written by ZHENG Qin-an of the Qing Dynasty.The book discusses the theory,syndrome differentiation,treatment and prognosis of San Yin diseases,based on the syndrome-differentiation of the six meridians.In this book,Si-Ni formulations are famous for Yang-warming in the treatment of Shaoyin disease,which sets a precedent for yang-warming method.But in the process of using hot property drugs in large dosage,abnormal symptoms will appear.In this article,the essence of abnormal symptoms will be concluded through studying ZHENG Qin-an books,"Shang Han Lun"," Lingshu" and clinical literatures,with the purpose of providing theory basis for clinical application of Si-Ni formulations.
