Abstract：Information visualization is a new field in the field of visual design in recent years.The visualization of basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine has abstracted and visualized abstract Chinese medicine connotation and basic theoretical knowledge,and can break the obstacle of understanding and learning Chinese medicine.This paper studies the status quo of the basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine,compares the different implementation directions of visualization,including:picture display,video recording,animation production,etc.,found that the form of animation in the performance of traditional Chinese medicine theory has a strong plastic,rich elements,Understand the advantages of high visual recognition rate,so the use of animation in the form of basic knowledge of Chinese medicine has a high research value.This expounded the basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine visualization of the feasibility and a variety of design ideas.
