Discussion on Etiology, Pathogenesis, Syndrome Differentiation and Treatment of Chronic Pain from the Perspective of Collateral Disease

Abstract：Pain is one of the body's five vital signs which is a common symptom of the disease.Many issues must be resolved about analgesic effect,analgesia,analgesic drug resistance and side effects of pain medications in modern medicine.The article displays that the law of etiology,pathogenesis,syndrome differentiation and treatment of chronic pain based on the perspective of collateral disease,the author thinks cold evil,heat evil and collateral disease are important parts of the causes of the chronic pain,while the blood stasis,blood deficiency,damaged collaterals and restless mind are the main pathogenesis.In the treatment,the author advocates Yinjing Quxie,Buxue Rongluo,Huoxue Tongluo and so on.It is all providing new insights and methods about clinical recognitions and preventions of chronic pain.
