Effects of JiaWei Sini Power on Expression of c-fos in Different Brain Areas and Nucleus of Rats with Irritable Bowel Syndrome

Abstract：Objective:To observe the effect of Jiawei Sini Dection on expression of c-fos protein in different brain areas in rats of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Method:The rat model of irritable bowel syndrome was made by binding stress with taking senna decoction,Twenty -four Wistar rats were divided randomly into normal group, model group, Jaiwei sinisan group and Dicetel group. The change in the number of c-fos positive neurons were detected by immunohistochemistry in rat cortex and striatum.Results :Jiawei Sini Decoction could significantly reduce the number of c-fos positive neurons in rat cortex and striatum. Conclusion :Jiawei Sini Decoction could reduce the expression of c-fos in different nucleis of brain regions of IBS rats to investigate the regulatory mechanism of brain-gut interaction.
