Effects of Chaihu Jia Longgu Muli Decoction on the Sleep PhaseOf Ovariectomized Rats

Abstract：Objective:Research the change of EEG about ovaries removal rats and the effect by Chaihujialonggumuli Decoction. Methods: Use the ovaries removal rats as models and adopt rat EEG technology. Illuminate the pharmacologic action of improve menopause insomnia by Chaihujialonggumuli Decoction from sleeping phase. Result : The duration of SWS2 ( slow wave sleep 2) in the sleeping phase of ovaries removal rats was dramatic lower than those sham operated. It can extend SWS2 obviously of free-running ovaries removal rats after 7 days by a Chaihujialonggumuli Decoction, however, no visible influence on SWS1 and REM. Conclusion Chaihujialonggumuli as the effect on improve the sleeping of ovaries removal rats.
