Integrated Local and Holistic Syndrome Differentiation for Treating Diabetic Foot

Abstract：In this paper, endotherapy and external treatment, as the common therapeutic methods for diabetic foot, were summarized. The endotherapy can be induced to 2 categories as treating according to stages and pattern classifications, or treating according to pattern classifications. The external treatment follows 3 principles, as clearing heat and detoxicating, depriving dampness; warming Yang to dispell cold and promote blood flow; dispelling rot to promote granulation, with the summary of single medicine selection, treating according to stages, forms of medication. In final, the point of combination the pattern differentiation according to the whole body with partis was developed to aim directly at the clinical feature that the the whole and partial pattern differentiation trend to be separated in diabetic foot patients.
