Experimental Study on Effects of Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction on Endothelial Progenitor Cells Differentiation

Abstract：Objective: To observe the effect on differentiation of EPCs by Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction. Methods: To observe EPCs on uptake of ac-LDL, secretion NO and cell structure affected by Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction-contained serum. Results: Compared to the control group, induced by 15% Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction-contained serum (XFZYDCS) for 48h could improve the EPCs for uptake ac-LDL and secretion NO; In 5% and 10% XFZYDCS groups, Weible-Palade body, typical endothelial cells structure, could be observed by electronic telescope. Conclusion: Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction could induce EPCs differentiate into endothelial cells.
