The Study on Efficacy of Xuebijing in Treatment of Patients with AECOPD

Abstract：objective: To investigate the effect of Xuebijing in treatment of AECOPD. Methods: 86 patients with AECOPD were divided into two groups randomly: 43 cases of treatment group and 34 cases of control group. The patients of control group were treated with routine treatment, and the patients of treatment group were treated with routine treatment and Xuebijing injection. Results: The effective rate of treatment group was significant higher than that of control groups( P < 0.05) . The average stay of patients in treatment group was significantly short than that of control group. The average cost of two groups was no significant difference. The serum levels of IL-6, IL-8 and TNF-orin patients of Xuebijing group were all significantly lower than that of control group ( P < 0.05 ). Conclusion: The efficacy of Xuebijing in treatment of AECOPD was more satisfactory. It can shorten average stay and not increased cost of patients. It can depress the levels of inflammatory cytokines such as IL-6, IL-8 and TNF-a in patients with AECOPD and elevate the treatment effect of AECOPD.
