Abstract:Objective: To study the protective mechanism of tongsai capsules in the AECOPD phlegm-heat model of rat. Methods: The AECOPD phlegm-heat model was established by smoking and dropping Klebsiella pneumoniae with stimulation of wind. the level of cytokine were tested by radioimmunology, Histopathological change of lung tissue and change of lung function were observed. Results: The contents of IL-8, TNF-α, CRP, ICAM-1 in tongsai group were less than those in model group. The VT,PEF were significantly increased, Ri were decreased. Conclusions: Decreasing the level of cytokine play a critical role in protective mechanism of promoting lung function and repairing pathological injury of tongsai capsules in the AECOPD phlegm-heat model of rat.
