Abstract:Objective: To investigate the response of lymphocyte proliferation in spleen of the BALB/c mice with influenza virus(H1N1 ) , and therapeutic effect of Chinese Medicine. Methods; FM1 virus(H1N1) was dropped nasally in BALB/c mice with oral administration of Banlangen granule and Ribavirin granule respectively. Status of mice, weight and lymphocyte proliferation of spleen for every group were observed before and after treatment. Results: Compared with that in model group, weight of spleen was kept more in normal group( P < 0.01) , and that in Ribavirin granule group was lost more ( P < 0.01) . Lymphocyte proliferation in Banlangen group and Ribavirin group with Con A was increased significantly ( P < 0.01, P < 0.05 respectively) which being compared with that in model group. Conclusion: In acute infection phase with the influenza virus(H1N1) .weight of spleen of mice was lost, lymphocyte proliferation response in Banlangen and Ribavirin groups with Con A can be enhanced, especially in Banlangen group.
