Abstract：To explain the connotation of Qi in TCM by modern medical theory and reveal the essence of it plays an important part in the modernization of TCM.With the knowledge of the realization of Qi by TCM and modern medicine,the article compared the theory of Qi in TCM with the energy metabolism of mitochondrion and the result shows that they have many close relations.The conclusion of the study suggests that the mitochondrion would be an important part of the Qi.
