Abstract：Hyperlipidemia syndrome (Phlegm accumulates with stagnant blood syndrome) is easily to cause disorder or damage of vascular endotheliocyte,which in turn induce angina pectoris of coronary heart disease under stimulation of many kinds of pathogenic factors. According to the theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine,the occurrence of “Xiong Bi” is due to the phlegm and blood stasis which blocks heart meridian. One hypothesis of the mechanisms of phlegm accumulates with stagnant blood are increase of lipoid peroxide,oxygen free radical,attachment of lipoid to vascular endothelia cell,and injury of vascular system. which provides theory basis for study the pathogenesis of angina pectoris of coronary heart disease.
