Abstract：Chinese drugs for removing wind have many characteristics, as elevating, dispersing, promoting, letting out and moving etc. The drugs can disperse path ogenic foutors, disperse the depressed qi to promtethe circulation of qi, invigorate yang with strong sudorific drugs pungent in taste and warm in property, deprive the evil wetness and eliminate sputum, remove ob struction in the collateral and promote resuscitation, promote blood circulation to dispol blood slasis, raise yang to aid to be used for invigoration and soon. Features of these functions are embodied in consideration of both pathogenesis and etiologic factors, conbination of part and whole, coordination of varied treating methods. Chinese drugs for removing wind, activating the blood and absorbing the clotts, could be another path for treating blood stasis.
