Effect of Youngui Yin on Calmodulin mRNA of Hypothalamus-Pituitary-Adrenal in Kidney Yang Deficiency Rat
Abstract：Objective:To explore the essence of kidney yang deficiency and therapeutical mechanism of kidney tonify herbs from molecular level.Methods:To make model of kidney yang deficiency by injecting acetic acid cortisone in rats.It had Detected calmodulin mRNA expression level of hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal axis in kidney yang deficiency rat and the effect of kidney tonify herbs Yougui Yin for it.Results:CaMmRNA level increased in hypothalamus and adrenal of kidney yang deficiency rat,but there was no change significantly in pituitary.Yougui Yin can depress hypothalamus CaMmRNA level of kidney yang deficiency rat,but it can't change markedly adrenal's Conclusion:The up-regulation of hypothalamus CaMmRNA level related with kidney yang deficiency.The down-regulation of hypothalamus CaMmRNA level is one of therapeutical mechanism that kidney tonify herbs Yougui Yin adjust symptom of kidney yang deficiency.
